Joanne Salmon
Director of Performing Arts
Joanne brings with her 16 years of experience working with students of Varying Exceptionalities, including ADD, ADHD, Anxiety, ASD, and Language Impaired. She believes in using a Multiple-Intelligences approach to learning, where each child is taught to use their personal strengths to help them learn and achieve their goals.
Joanne has held her certification in ESE K-12 and Drama 6-12, as well as her ESOL Endorsement. She is still licensed as a Reading Specialist from Lindamood-Bell. During the course of her career, she has worked as an administrator for an SES and certified school coordinating their No Child Left Behind program. Joanne is currently enrolled in EPI and is working on her recertification. She plans to finish her Master’s degree program in Special Education sometime before the sun explodes.
